Dear Members,
It is my great honour to serve as your Registrar & Executive Director. I would like to thank Dr. Morris for his years of service and dedication to the College. I would also like to thank Dr. Towers and the Council for their faith in me to lead the College into its next era of excellence.
The first few months of my tenure have been a humbling experience filled with reflection on the dialectical tension between consistency and change. There is much to celebrate about the College, its staff, and its members. There are also areas of the College that will benefit from modernization to continue to meet the needs of Ontarians now, and into the future. I am excited to embark on this journey together.

To help facilitate communication to the membership, I will be using HeadLines as one of the platforms to provide updates on College initiatives. The College is actively working on a revitalized Strategic Plan to guide our work over the next five years; this will serve as our “North Star.” The Strategic Plan will be released in the coming months upon approval of the Council.
We are well underway to welcoming Behaviour Analysts to the College and are working closely with the Ministry of Health leading up to the eventual proclamation of the Psychology and Applied Behaviour Analysis Act, 2021. The College will provide further updates to members as we prepare for this historic event.
I would like to thank each member of the College for their dedication to the profession and to protecting the public interest. The psychological toll of the pandemic continues to resonate with an increased demand for psychological services. Although it is clear that psychologists and psychological associates have embraced this challenge, burnout and the health of our members is on my mind and is an area that I will reflect upon. I am proud of our profession and to be your peer. My commitment to you all and to the public is to lead with integrity, professionalism, and an openness to change. Thank you for joining me on this journey together.
