Si vous avez un doctorat en psychologie et que vous ayez été inscrit à titre de psychologue dans une province ou un territoire du Canada ou des États-Unis où les exigences de l’inscription ne sont pas équivalentes à celles de l’Ontario, vous devez faire une demande de certificat autorisant l’exercice sous supervision.

Eligibility Review
Applicants who have completed their education but have not yet secured employment and supervisors in Ontario, may opt to apply for an eligibility review. During this review, the College will review the applicant’s academic credentials. Many candidates choose to submit an application before they’ve secured employment and supervision because, it offers them the opportunity to write the Jurisprudence and Ethics Examination (JEE), and Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) once they’ve been deemed eligible by the College. Through this application review, it can also be determined whether an applicant may need to undertake any additional training as part of their registration process.

Registration Committee Dates
PLEASE NOTE: This section only applies if your application has been referred to the Registration Committee for review. If you are applying for registration for the first time (Supervised Practice or Interim Autonomous Practice), your application is first reviewed by the Registrar, not the Registration Committee – these dates don’t apply to you.
If your file is scheduled for review by the Registration Committee and you need to submit additional information, it must be received at least 10 days in advance of the meeting date. Submissions should be emailed to cpbao@cpbao.ca to the attention of the Registration Committee.
All submission deadlines are at 5 p.m. (ET).
- September 17–18, 2026 — Submission deadline: September 4, 2026
- November 12–13, 2026 — Submission deadline: November 2, 2026
- January 21–22, 2027 — Submission deadline: January 11, 2027
- March 11–12, 2027 — Submission deadline: March 1, 2027

Why is there a submission deadline?
CPBAO needs time to process submissions, prepare materials and ensure the Committee can review everything in advance of their meeting. We often receive a high volume of submissions to the Registration Committee. Submitting early also gives staff time to follow up with you if anything needs clarification before it goes to the Committee.
The Registration Committee meets every other month. If you miss the submission deadline, your submission will be scheduled for the next available Committee meeting instead.
