Applicants applying for a Certificate of Registration for a Behaviour Analyst Authorizing Autonomous Practice under Transitional Route #1 must request a Verification Letter from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as evidence of their active BCBA or BCBA-D certification.

Step 1: Visit the BACB website at https://www.bacb.com/ and select the option “Verify a Certificant” as follows:

Step 2: On the “Verify a Certificant” page, scroll down until you see a section titled “Verification Letter Request Form”, which you will need to complete and submit. Upon submission of the form and payment of the $25 fee, the BACB will send the form to the College.

Please note: Applicants must put cpbao@cpbao.ca as the delivery email address. The College will not accept a copy of the letter submitted by the applicant themselves.
