The Barbara Wand Seminar in Professional Ethics, Standards and Conduct

This Seminar was established to honour Dr. Barbara Wand who served as Registrar of the Ontario Board of Examiners in Psychology for 15 years, from 1976 to 1991.  It was established to recognize her contribution to the regulation of the profession of psychology, not only in Ontario, but also throughout North America.

The Barbara Wand Seminar will be held on Friday June 13, 2025 – 9am to 12pm
Registration will be free for College members, applicants and graduate psychology students.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Credits

You are eligible to claim the following CPD credits for viewing the seminar live or at a later date (1 hour = 1 credit): 

 Section A and/or Section B: For attendance and discussion with professional colleague(s)

 Section B: For independent viewing

 If you are included in the 2023-2025 CPD cycle, you may choose to claim the following credits as per the previous CPD requirements instead:

 A8: General Attendance at Conferences, Workshops, Seminars and Conventions: (1/2 day = 1 credit)

B2: Programs/Courses/Workshops whether or not formal CE credits are provided (1 hour = 1 credit)

If viewing with other participants or professional peers, credits may be counted under both A8 or B2 categories.
